James-Allen ("J. A.") McPheeters joined Jennis & Bowen in 2009. Mr. McPheeters received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Rhodes College in 2000, and received both his Juris Doctorate and his Masters of Business Administration from Stetson University in 2009. Prior to and throughout law school, Mr. McPheeters managed agricultural and timber properties. While at Stetson, Mr. McPheeters interned with the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen, Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida, and earned the Judge Alexander Paskay Bankruptcy Award for attaining the highest grade in Judge Paskay’s Advanced Bankruptcy Seminar. James-Allen enjoys reading, cycling, jogging and spending time with his wife.
